The Nation’s #1 Park system, the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board (MPRB), launched a new responsive website to better serve the Twin Cities community. Offering everything from activity sign-up to golf to wedding venues, the MPRB website receives more than 2.2 million visitors each year. The new website elevates users’ MPRB digital experience, and will serve as an unparalleled community tool for park- and event-goers across the city.
The MPRB completed an initial phase of work with Fredrickson Communications that included a website needs assessment and content inventory and audit. The first phase captured community input and ensured MPRB constituents’ suggestions were heard.
The second phase of design and development was completed by Clockwork. Using their customized platform, the Active Media Manager (AMM), Clockwork implemented a vibrant user experience for the site visitors. The AMM also offers an efficient and seamless interface for the MPRB content managers. The redesign makes MPRB’s vast range of parks, events, activities, and information more easily searchable and discoverable.
